"The Shop" at Snazzy Little Things is an online boutique offering a variety of vintage-inspired home decor. We opened February 1, 2017, as a way to sell our own hand made furniture and custom creations. Our love for antiques will also be reflected in our inventory -- we curate and collect one-of-a-kind items found locally that we know you'll love. My love for photography will also be part of the shop - many of the displayed items are styled in my own home.

In addition to handmade items and authentic antiques, we will also offer on-trend, vintage-inspired farmhouse and industrial decor. In these cases, we work directly with distributors that specialize in vintage-inspired goods who ship directly from their warehouse to your doorstep.

I remember the phrase "snazzy little things" well....

My grandfather was an antiques picker -- he used to say this phrase often as he was in the throes of refinishing old antiques and furniture. The blog began in 2012 when my home was a blank canvas–I was a single Mom living in a “nothing special” but nice neighborhood to raise my kids. I soon found myself creating my very own ‘snazzy little things’.  I’ve chronicled our DIY and home improvement journey to inspire others, offering creative ways for readers to beautify their homes without breaking the bank.

Mark and I were married in 2014, I was lucky enough to find a skilled handyman and woodworker (lucky me!) I credit him with the execution of our projects - while I take Mark and Jeanette, Owners of Snazzy Little Thingscredit for the the vision ;-) We love room renovations, woodworking projects, and restoring old furnitureWhen decorating, I throw in anything with a touch of vintage glam, old maps, French-industrial — and I love adding “surprise” elements in all of my decor. A combination of all of this is what you'll find here in our store. We both have a background in the software industry. Mark is still in the business but I left to pursue my creative passion. Thanks to this little blog, I've expanded my creative interests by opening this online boutique. I also provide consulting  around web design and interior decorating services.
