Baby Sophia was born on my daughter's birthday, so we now have two Aries in the family! And we couldn't have a session without honoring big brother Jack. Mom and dad are doing a great job with my two grandbabies and I wanted to be sure to capture this time now that they live closer to us (they moved from Detroit in December 2021).
A couple of tips for timeless newborn photography:
- Plan your session within the first 2 weeks of life
- Plan on a relaxed afternoon and several hours. My goal is to capture natural moments as they happen without disrupting your current routine.
- Warm the house up just a bit so the baby is comfortable
- Choose natural fabrics with texture (no patterns)
- Neutral colors work best
- I will be turning off overhead lighting and using natural light (near open windows).
